This is the news all Liverpool fans have been waiting for. The contract situation that has cast a shadow over the entire season seems to be fading away, with multiple outlets, such as Fabrizio Romano, Lewis Steele, and Paul Joyce, all confirming the news.

Liverpool superstars Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all out of contract for the upcoming summer of 2025.

The latter appears to be departing for sunnier settings in Madrid, but the former two are now confirmed to be in the latter stages of their contract talks to extend their stay on Merseyside for the foreseeable future!

This comes as welcome news to Liverpool fans who have been on the receiving end of some bad results of late, losing three of their last four results and getting knocked out of the remaining two cup competitions they found themselves in.

All is not doom and gloom, however, as the Reds look set to secure their twentieth first division title, equalling that of rivals Manchester United and securing their second title in the last five years.

With Liverpool set to face West Ham United at the weekend to place one hand on the Premier League trophy, this is exactly the boost the entire squad was pushing for and needed.
