His current contract with the club expires this summer, making him a free agent.
The reported terms of the contract suggest that Alexander-Arnold will earn an annual salary of £13 million, translating to approximately £240,000 per week— a significant increase from his current £180,000 weekly wages at Liverpool.
In addition to his salary, Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to receive a substantial signing-on fee and the opportunity to earn performance-related bonuses.

This impending move to Madrid will bring an end to Alexander-Arnold’s remarkable 21-year career at Liverpool, which began when he joined the club’s academy in 2004 at just six years old.
