Liverpool forward Luis Diaz took part in Colombia training alongside his teammates on Tuesday to ease concerns over his fitness.
Despite playing 114 out of the 120 minutes at Old Trafford on Sunday, Klopp revealed concerns about Diaz’s groin, stating, “Lucho felt his groin.”
Nevertheless, just a day later, the 27-year-old travelled to London to link up with the rest of the Colombia squad as they prepare for two friendlies over the break.
On Monday, as reported by Colombian outlet Noticias Caracol, Diaz engaged in recovery work in the gym while most of Nestor Lorenzo’s squad participated in an outdoor training session.
However, just a day later, Diaz was pictured with the rest of the squad, indicating that it is business as usual for the winger despite the injury concerns.

While this development may ease some worries, Klopp will likely hope that Diaz is managed carefully, especially with two friendlies scheduled against Spain and Romania.
Since January 31, Diaz has accumulated almost 1,000 minutes of play, a significant workload that will only increase while on international duty with Colombia and upon returning to domestic action.
He was one of three injury concerns highlighted by Klopp following Sunday’s defeat, with Cody Gakpo being another; however, Gakpo has since joined up with the Netherlands squad, while Darwin Nunez remains in Merseyside.
Nunez withdrew from the Uruguay squad due to a hamstring issue, however, the problem is expected to have been resolved by the time Liverpool faces Brighton on March 31.
