Jakub Ojrzynski becomes the latest Liverpool player to leave the club after joining Den Bosch FC on a season-long loan for the 2023-24 campaign.

The 20-year-old is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Reds and will aim to build up further senior experience in the Netherlands, having had successful loan spells at Caernarfon Town and Radomiak Radom.

He joined Liverpool’s Academy in 2019 from Legia Warsaw in his homeland of Poland and penned a new long-term deal with the club in 2021.

Ojrzynski has featured for the Reds’ U18s and the U23s during his time at the club.

“I chose FC Den Bosch because it is a good place to develop myself. The experiences I can gain in the Netherlands at FC Den Bosch and in this competition will help me further,” he said.

“Conversely, I also want to help FC Den Bosch move forward and I will do my very best to show myself to the fans. The club was not entirely new to me. I could always only see the premier league games, but I know, for example, that Ruud van Nistelrooij was educated here and that his career started in Den Bosch.

“FC Den Bosch is anyway a nursery of youth football players, I understand. I am really looking forward to the start of the season and can’t wait to see the supporters!”

FC Den Bosch Technical Director added: ” We are very happy that we have been able to bring Jakub to Den Bosch on loan. It is essential that we have two equal goalkeepers in the squad who can compete for the goalkeeping position throughout the season. Jakub offers us this.

“He has gained extensive professional experience at several clubs and teams. Jakub also represented his country in various youth selections. He trained regularly with the first team of Liverpool, where Jakub has been under contract since 2019.

“The fact that he is loaned out by Liverpool and not transferred permanently says a lot about the potential they see in him. We think that FC Den Bosch is a good step in Jakub’s career and for his further development. Although, of course, he brings many good qualities that are already of added value to FC Den Bosch.”
