Liverpool and Leeds United are in advanced talks over the transfer of Reds defender Nat Phillips according to a report.
The 26-year-old is expected to depart Anfield this summer in search of regular game time after failing to nail down a place in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Phillips had excelled when called upon during the injury fated 2020/21 season, helping the team secure an unlikely spot in the following season’s Champions League.
A six-month loan spell to Bournemouth in the Championship followed but Phillips returned to Liverpool at the start of last season but only managed five appearances during a disappointing campaign.

According to Rudy Galetti, the two clubs are in advanced talks over a transfer that would take the defender to Elland Road.
The journalist also suggests that the two clubs are discussing the finer details of the deal which is quoted as being worth around £10million including add-ons.
