It was a relatively quiet few days on the whole for the Liverpool players on loan as football returned at the top level after the International break.
In the Championship, Ben Davies missed out on Sheffield United’s 6-2 victory at home to Peterborough United on Saturday due to injury. It is unclear at the moment exactly what the nature of the problem is and whether he will return in midweek.
Centre back Rhys Williams made a good start to his Swansea career helping them to a clean sheet as they drew 0-0 with Hull City.

There was another goalless draw at Ashton Gate between Bristol City and Preston. Sepp van den Berg, fresh off his recent goal scoring exploits was impressive again in helping keep the Robins out.
Sheyi Ojo made his debut for Millwall in their 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns against West Brom. The forward missed a good chance when clean through late on against England’s Sam Johnstone before being substituted in the 80th minute.
As reported by NewsAtDen, Millwall boss Gary Rowett was pleased with Ojo’s performance describing him and Jed Wallace as a ‘major threat’ up front.
After making his debut for the England under 20 team earlier in the week, Leighton Clarkson was an unused sub as Blackburn drew 2-2 with Luton at Ewood Park.
In League Two, Jake Cain and Paul Glatzel were also unused subs for Newport County and Tranmere Rovers.
Over in Scotland, Ben Woodburn had a promising 2nd game for Hearts as he completed another 71 minutes in the 0-0 draw with Hibernian.
As per Edinburgh Sport Live, Hearts manager Robbie Neilson labelled Woodburn as ‘real quality’ having barely trained with his new teammates.
In two other games in Scotland that also ended 0-0, Luis Longstaff came on in the 65th minute for Queens Park who took on Airdrieonians and left back Adam Lewis was an unused sub for Livingstone as they drew away at Dundee.
In Spain Anderson Arroyo played the full game with ten man Mirandes going down 3-1 at home to Alcorcon.
