Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is the latest of many names linked with a move to Anfield, according to new reports by Jacque Talbot.
Liverpool’s pursuit of a midfielder is entering dangerous territory, in terms of time. The Premier League begins in just a week’s time.
The Reds face Chelsea on Sunday 13th August at Stamford Bridge and yet are to have a recognised defnesive midfielder amonsgt the ranks.
During their 4-3 pre-season loss to Bayern Munich on Wednesday, Curtis Jones covered the no.6 role, despite being an attacking-minded player.
Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Fluminense’s Andre Trindade are the two current reported links to the club, Lavia being the primary target.
However, due to Saints rejecting two bids so far for the Belgian, Liverpool’s attention is beginning to turn elsewhere.
Dewsbury-Hall Over Romeo Lavia?
According to Transfer.com journalist, Jacque Talbot, Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is liked by the Merseyside club.
The English centre-midfielder, who can play at CDM, faced the Reds in a 4-0 loss just under a week ago.
Key players James Maddison and Youri Tielemans have already left the Foxes this window, so a deal for Dewsbury-Hall may be a difficult one to secure.
Have the Reds left it too late to address their midfield issues and are they entering desperate measure time?
