According to The Athletic, Liverpool have turned down a £4 million ($5.1 million) offer from Turkish club Trabzonspor for defender Nat Phillips.
The 27-year-old centre-back is expected to depart Anfield this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.
Despite this, Liverpool value him at approximately £8 million and is not under pressure to sell.
Phillips, who resumed pre-season training with Liverpool last week, has also attracted interest from several Championship clubs, including Burnley.
New Burnley manager Scott Parker holds Phillips in high regard following a successful loan spell together at Bournemouth during the 2021-22 season.
Currently assessing his options, Phillips has amassed 29 senior appearances for Liverpool since joining from Bolton Wanderers’ academy in 2016.
In addition to Bournemouth, he has enjoyed loan stints at Stuttgart, Celtic, and Cardiff City.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have announced that goalkeeper Adrian will depart the club at the end of his contract this summer.
The Spaniard was offered an extension but has chosen to seek a new challenge after five years at Anfield.
The 37-year-old, who made 26 appearances for Liverpool, is set to reunite with his former club Real Betis.
Adrian was a respected figure in the dressing room, offering valuable experience as cover for Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher during his tenure.
