Luke Shaw is now set to miss the next few weeks of Manchester United games with an injury, says David Ornstein. The left back will miss weeks rather than months in what is still a huge blow for Erik Ten Hag.
However, this comes as an even bigger blow as United now no longer have a senior left back. Tyrell Malacia is expected to remained side lined following his injury in pre season.
The Red Devils may have to think about their outgoings. Spanish youngster Alvaro Fernandez was set to move to Granada on loan but Ten Hag may reverse that decision to keep him at the club.
Luke Shaw To Miss ‘Weeks’ For Manchester United Through Injury
David Ornstein of the Athletic shared the news in a post on Thursday night. The journalist reported the following;
“Luke Shaw has suffered a muscular injury + is expected to be sidelined for an extended period. Assessments ongoing in hope 28yo left-back will miss weeks rather than months. Blow to Man Utd & England before Euro qualifiers.”
United are now without Shaw, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund this weekend.
