El Ghazi was at the Emirates last week to watch Manchester United play Arsenal. Contact is likely to have been made between the club and the player at the match.
The player has offers from Saudi Arabia, but is unlikely to turn down a chance to stay in the Premier League. Erik ten Hag is familiar with El Ghazi due to his time at PSV in the Dutch league.
It’s a signing that is likely to be met with a lot of unrest from United fans. Facundo Pellistri is right there, and the fans cannot believe he is not being pushed straight into the first-team at right-wing.
