Manchester United have announced the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund on a five-year deal. Hojlund was presented on the pitch today before kick-off against Lens at Old Trafford.
United will pay Atalanta £64million and with add-ons the deal could rise to £72million overall. United will be very happy however if them add-ons are reached.
Hojlund only wanted to join Manchester United.

United announced the news via their Twitter while Hojlund was on the pitch being unveiled.
“It is no secret that I have been a fan of this great club since I was a small boy, and I dreamed of walking out at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.

Hojlund was Erik ten Hag’s first choice for the striker target ahead of the likes of Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani.
The deal has an option of a further year to make it 6 years if the club choose. Hojlund is a boyhood Manchester United fan.
He joins a strong list of Danish players who have played for United including Christian Eriksen and Peter Schmeichel.
PSG were also interested in Hojlund but his preference was clear from the beginning. He scored 16 goals in all competitions last season.
