Manchester United acknowledge there may be no way back for Jadon Sancho at the club, and have held internal discussions about him leaving in January. Sancho is yet to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag after a dispute over training performances.
Erik ten Hag is adamant that Sancho must say sorry for his actions. The player does not see it that way, and has remained out of team training since the Arsenal game. There is no immediate signs of a resolution.
The club are aware Sancho could leave, and are already speaking out it internally.
Jadon Sancho To Leave United:
The news is reported by Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed Manchester United had held conversations regarding the topic.
At present it’s more likely that Sancho leaves than stays. United have began to scout the right winger market for a possible replacement. No contact has been made with any wingers as of yet, but it’s a moving situation.
Sancho could return to his former club Borussia Dortmund. There is contact between the player and the manager Edin Terzic. Dortmund acknowledge it is a difficult deal to do, but are following the situation as it happens.
United are most likely to allow Sancho to leave on loan, with an option or obligation to buy. No wingers have been heavily linked as of yet, but Federico Chiesa is someone United have followed for a number of years.
A sad end to Jadon Sancho’s time at United looks to be getting closer.
