Manchester United midfielder Donny Van De Beek is wanted by a number of clubs this summer. The Dutch midfielder has not featured for United for some time due to the squad ahead of him as well as injuries suffered in the last season.

Signing from Ajax, the midfielder had a lot of promise when arriving under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, he never really seemed to fit the plans of the manager and has failed to really feature under a familiar boss in Erik Ten Hag.

Van De Beek was part of Ten Hag’s Ajax side that reached the semi final of the UEFA Champions League. The former Ajax boss has been reluctant to give Van De Beek many opportunities in his side due to the options already nailed down ahead of him.

Fabrizio Romano had reported that Van De Beek would assess his options this summer and now there are many clubs interested in his signature. According to a new report from 90min football;

“Inter, Roma, Milan, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Sevilla, Nice, Celtic, Ajax and Feyenoord all hold an interest in Donny van de Beek! Erik ten Hag has given him the green light to leave this summer.”

It would be the right move for all parties this summer to see the midfielder depart the club. United need to recruit new talent whilst Van De Beek needs to play regular football.
