Manchester United are still ‘monitoring’ Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka. The club had been linked to the German midfielder for some time before this new report.
Goretzka’s name had been mentioned before the signing of Mason Mount. However, United also want to sign another midfielder this summer with the German’s name discussed.
A new report states that United are still monitoring a possible deal for the player. The signing of Mount has not affected their apparent interest in the player.
Manchester United Still Monitoring Leon Goretzka
According to the new report from Sky Sports in Germany, United are still monitoring the midfielder. The report says;
“Manchester United are still monitoring Goretzka’s situation closely even after signing Mason Mount.”
Goretzka is an incredible midfielder. A versatile elite level player who would provide yet another top option for Erik Ten Hag.
United signed Bayern’s Marcel Sabtizer on loan in January. The Austrian performed well but has not been signed permanently by the Red Devils.
Ten Hag is also a fan of Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina. The pair previously worked together in the Netherlands.
