Manchester United are one step away from signing Sofyan Amrabat. United have been linked to the signing of the player for some time.
The Fiorentina midfielder has already played under Erik Ten Hag. The Dutchman was Amrabat’s manager at Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Amrabat had a sensational showing at the World Cup in 2022. The Moroccan was a part of the side that reached the semi final.
Amrabat would be a major upgrade on the likes of Scott McTominay in United’s midfield. Having already added Mason Mount this summer, the Fiorentina man would be another welcome addition.
Manchester United Submit Offer For Sofyan Amrabat
According to an Italian report by SportItalia, “Sofyan Amrabat is one step away from signing for Manchester United. United have submitted a €35m offer to Fiorentina for the midfielder, who is ready to leave.”
Alfredo Pedulla has also reaffirmed the story. The journalist states that a deal can be done with only a few details missing.
A deal could be concluded for around £28million if reports are accurate. Amrabat can play as both a defensive midfielder and a central midfielder.
Ten Hag is seemingly keen to reunite with the player he once coached. United are also still looking to offload Fred this summer.
