Manchester United are now ready to extend the contract of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. There is now an expectation that a new contract will be offered in the coming weeks. The former Crystal Palace defender is expected to accept.

Wan-Bissaka worked his way back into the fold at United after being frozen out by Erik ten Hag. The full-back proved his worth to the manager, and was the starting right-back before his injury.

Diogo Dalot signed a new contract is May of this year, meaning United would have both full-backs tied down for the forseeable.

As reported by Rob Dawson, Manchester United are ready to extend the contract of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The club feel he has earned a new deal.

The defender is out injured at the minute, and is working his way back to full fitness. United have targeted Jeremie Frimpong in recent months, but now look to be happy with Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot.

Erik ten Hag has been impressed with the attitude and professionalism of the defender since he came into the club. Wan-Bissaka pushed his way into the side, and gave the manager no choice to pick him every week.

There is also a feeling Victor Lindelof could be offered a new deal, but there is hesitation surrounding that at the moment. Anthony Martial is currently unlikely to be offered a new deal.
