Manchester United have now rejected a new bid for Harry Maguire from West Ham, say reports. The Hammers placed new bids for both Maguire and Scott McTominay today.
West Ham are keen on signing both the English centre back and Scottish midfielder. David Moyes is said to be the driving force between the desire to sign both players.
Whilst Maguire and McTominay may be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, they’d make a great addition to West Ham. The London club sold Declan Rice to Arsenal this summer and are rebuilding.
Manchester United Reject Harry Maguire West Ham Bid
West Ham were going to provide an offer which equated to a £60million package for both Maguire on McTominay. The two bids were worth £30million and were submitted separately.
United instantly rejected the bid for McTominay and have now also rejected the bid for Maguire. The Red Devils want more money for each player.
TalkSport report; “West Ham’s bid for Harry Maguire has been rejected – they are considering upping their offer for him.”
