Manchester United have now submitted a proposal to sign Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, says David Ornstein. The Spanish left back is now seen as the clubs top candidate as a new left back signing.
United have offered an initial loan as part of the proposal they have submitted today. The Spanish left back was one of the leagues top players in his position at Brighton but has failed to hit heights at Chelsea.
Erik Ten Hag is said to admire the Spaniard and the player is seen as one that fits the system. The 25 year old is open to the move at this moment.
Manchester United Submit Marc Cucurella Proposal
According to the report from David Ornstein of the Athletic, United have submitted a proposal for Cucurella. The initial proposal is a loan deal with talks ongoing between United and Chelsea.
There are a number of discussions ongoing to decide the final parameters for what the deal will entail. The clubs will remain in talks to try and find a solution that works for both parties in the situation.
Cucurella is not a bad signing and people will have forgotten just how good he thrived before his Chelsea move. If Ten Hag can get the best out of him, the signing could work extremely well.
