Mohamed Salah may be closer than ever to securing his Liverpool future, with serious contract renewal talks now underway, according to a major Egyptian outlet.
The Liverpool star has reportedly received a significantly improved offer from the club, with sources suggesting it is the most lucrative proposal he has been presented with so far.
Salah’s current contract expires at the end of the season, and throughout the campaign, he has hinted that he was more likely to leave than stay, describing his situation as being “more out than in.”
However, Masrawy reports that Liverpool have now reopened negotiations with Salah’s agent, Rami Abbas, in an effort to keep the Egyptian forward at Anfield.

“Liverpool’s management has initiated talks with Rami Abbas to extend Mohamed Salah’s contract,” a source told Masrawy.
“Negotiations are further along than ever before, and the offer on the table surpasses any previous proposals made to the player.”
It is no secret that Mohamed Salah wants to remain at Anfield, but he has admitted that, as things stand, it appears he could be on his way out of the club.
