Nottingham Forest want to sign Anthony Elanga from Manchester United. Forest are said to be working on a deal to bring Elanga to the City Ground from Old Trafford in this window.
Everton have also been pushing to sign the Swedish International. The Toffees are preparing a bid to sign Elanga and are keen to get the deal done.
Everton will continue talks with United despite interest from Forest. However, Forest are really looking to get into the race and attempt to sign the talent.
Nottingham Forest Want Elanga From Manchester United
According to a new report from Charlotte Duncker, Forest are already working on a deal. The former Championship side could be set to hijack the deal as Everton and United negotiate.
Her full report says; “Nottingham Forest are working on a deal to bring Anthony Elanga to the City Ground.” Forest will have to match the fee that Everton are willing to pay – rumoured to be around £20-25million.
Elanga has become surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. A big sale of the player could help fund the rest of this summers transfer business.
