A 32-man Liverpool squad will travel to Germany on Saturday as they step up their pre-season preparations.
The Reds returned to pre-season training last week and will now base themselves in Baden-Württemberg for the next 10 days.
They will take to the pitch for the first time on Wednesday when they take on Karlsruher SC before facing Greuther Furth the following Monday.
Jurgen Klopp has named a 32-man strong squad for the trip to Germany but Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has been left out amid transfer interest from Saudi.
As widely reported on Saturday morning, the 29-year-old is the subject of a £40million offer from Al-Ittihad and it appears he could depart after five years on Merseyside.
Skipper Jordan Henderson is included however despite reports that he has agreed personal terms with Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq. It seems that the two clubs have not yet found an agreement hence the 33-year-old has travelled with his future unclear.
