A Premier League club are interested in making Donny Van De Beek their player as the hours tick down in the summer transfer window.

Clubs don’t have much time to get deals done as the transfer deadline day is at 11 p.m. tonight (Friday) but that has not stopped rumours from spreading on all sorts of players.

Van De Beek looked destined to remain with The Red Devils despite the club’s clear lack of enthusiasm towards using him but there now finally seems to be some interest.

The Dutchman was loaned out to Everton a year and a half after moving to Manchester from AFC Ajax and despite the arrival of his old coach Erik Ten Hag, who has shown a tendency to almost only want to sign players he has worked with before, the midfielder has barely been used as of now.

Van De Beek has only 60 appearances since joining in 2020 (Most of which off the bench), scoring two goals and making two assists.

According to a report from The MEN, the midfielder has eyes on him from Premier League newcomers Luton Town, who have “Registered their interest”, allegedly.

Whether or not they are likely to make a move on this interest was not disclosed, however.

The Red Devils have more than enough attack-minded midfielders after the arrival of Mason Mount, but United have struggled for a long time sell players who aren’t out of contract.
