Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly eyeing Luis Diaz as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to join Real Madrid this summer.
According to El Pais Colombia, Liverpool may demand a fee as high as €145million for Diaz.
With Jurgen Klopp set to depart Anfield at the end of the season, there are uncertainties surrounding the future of the 27-year-old winger.
PSG’s interest in Diaz arises amid Mbappe’s impending departure and the looming uncertainty surrounding Klopp’s exit, marking a significant shift for both clubs.
The potential transfer fee for Diaz is estimated to range between €120million and €145million (£102million to £123million, or $131million to $164million).
Mbappe’s protracted transfer saga and Klopp’s imminent departure have dominated recent football headlines, signaling a new era for both PSG and Liverpool.
Securing suitable replacements swiftly will be crucial for both clubs to maintain their competitive edge. Diaz, who joined Liverpool from FC Porto in 2022 for £40 million, is also attracting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.
His impressive performances this season, with 11 goals and five assists to his name, have further solidified his status as a sought-after talent in European football.
Since Mbappe officially communicated his intention to leave, PSG have been actively searching for a credible replacement for the talented attacker and have been linked with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leao, Bernardo Silva and Leny Yoro.
