Manchester United have reportedly made a decision on Aaron Wan-Bissaka‘s future and whether or not he will remain at the club for the coming season.
The right-back has had ups and downs under Erik Ten Hag and his future looked much less certain than under previous long-term manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Even to the point where it looked certain he would be sold until midway through last season. His counterpart Diogo Dalot had seemingly won the manager’s favour for good, with rumours having indicated Wan-Bissaka would be sold if a suitable offer arrives.
However, this might have changed now. The Englishman won his place back in the second half of the season and now, like Dalot, could also sign a new contract at the club (His current one ends after the upcoming season) according to the Daily Mail.
They say that the club want him to extend and are ready to open formal talks with his agent. The report also says that his wages would be increased to the £100,000 a week mark.
‘The Spider’ made 34 appearances in all competitions last season, with one assist in the process.
It looks like both right-backs will have to fight again for the spot as the first choice under Ten Hag.
