Al Hilal are reportedly ready to pay 70 million euros to secure the signing of Bernardo Silva from the Premier League Champions Manchester City in what would arguably the biggest move that Saudi Arabia can pull off.
Silva has been one of the most important players in the Pep Guardiola era at Manchester City and at just 28-years-old the Portuguese international is at his prime so moving to Saudi Arabia would be a serious statement.
City have been informed that Al Hilal are ready to pay that amount so it is now up to them to either agree to let him go or keep him at the club before Silva can start official negotiations about a salary.
Al Hilal are prepared to offer Silva 50 million euros a year which would significantly beat his current wage at Manchester City but even though he is being offered that mammoth wage the 28-year-old is still unsure on what to do.
He has an option to extend his stay at City whilst Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona also want him but whether they can offer the same financial package to City as Al Hilal remains to be seen.
Silva would prefer to stay in Europe but those two sides are yet to inform City that they have an offer ready unlike Al Hilal.
