Saudi League side Al Ittihad are interested in signing Manchester United defender Raphael Varane. They have made contact with the players representatives to try and make a move happen.
Al Ittihad boast a contingent of French players at the club. Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante made the switch this summer, and they have been trying to convince Varane.
The feeling however is that Varane would prefer to stay at United this summer.
As reported by GFFN, Al Ittihad have made contact with representatives of Raphael Varane of Manchester United.
Varane is not interested in the move at this stage. The player is settled in Manchester, and is a huge part of Erik ten Hag’s plans this season.
The Saudi League have convinced a lot of players to join this summer, but Varane feels like he can still offer a lot to United.
Manchester United themselves would also be reluctant to allow an important player to leave now, with so little time left in the window.
Temptations for Varane, but he’s staying put!
