Ange Postecoglou has today spoken about the future of Harry Kane amid interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich. United have not yet moved for Kane but are seriously interested in the striker. Bayern have moved twice, but both bids have been rejected.

Postecoglou has yet to speak to Kane since taking over Spurs but has today detailed his desire to do so. Kane has not asked to leave as of yet but is reportedly open to a move to Bayern Munich.

United are chasing Rasmus Hojlund but a formal request to leave from Kane could change their targets.

Ange Speaks On Kane:

Harry Kane

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Ange Postecoglou has today spoken on what he intends to do with Harry Kane this week. Speculation around Kane’s future has been ripe as of late.

“I want to introduce myself and I want to know what he wants to happen to make this football club successful”.

“Then we’ll go out there on the training ground and make it happen”.

By the sounds of Postecoglou there, the club have no immediate desire to allow Kane to leave. Daniel Levy will not entertain offers below £100million, and Bayern or Manchester United are yet to come near that.

The German Champions launched a £68million bid yesterday but Spurs are expected to reject it outright. Manchester United will only engage with Spurs if Kane formally asks to leave the club.

For Ange Postecoglou it’s business as usual regarding Harry Kane. The Australian looks to be planning with the striker as part of his squad this season. Kane could look to move closer to breaking the Premier League goal scoring record if he does stay at Spurs.

No signs of Kane leaving as of now, but as we know press conferences are not always the best gateway to the truth.
