Turkish wonder kid Arda Guler will join Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer according to The Athletic.
The attacking midfielder has attracted a lot of interest from several clubs across Europe due to the fact he was on the market but now he has made his decision.
Real Madrid’s biggest rivals Barcelona held a strong interest in the 18-year-old but Guler has rejected their advances as he allegedly is more convinced by the project that Los Blancos sold to him.
Guler is expected to join up with the Real Madrid squad on pre-season once a deal is done.
Real Madrid are going to pay more then his release clause so the fee will be over 20 million euros and include bonuses as well as a sell on fee as Fenerbahche look to get as much money as they possibly can from the sale.
Due to this Real Madrid expect the Turkish side to accept the offer so if they do sell him in the future they will still get money from him even if he does not succeed.
They have already splashed the cash this summer by signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund but Real Madrid are yet to sign a striker for big money with Kylian Mbappe being persistently linked with a move.
