Manchester United could now be about to miss out on Benjamin Pavard, and Arsenal could swoop in for the Bayern defender. United are unlikely to move due to West Ham walking away from a deal for Harry Maguire.

Arsenal need a new defender after the ACL injury to Jurrien Timber, and Pavard fits the profile of player the club want. Bayern remain keen on keeping Pavard, but the player wants to leave.

Pavard is prepared to push through a move away from Bayern Munich.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal could move for Manchester United target Benjamin Pavard in the coming weeks. They are one of the clubs he could join.

Pavard is very keen on a move away from Bayern. The French defender is adamant on leaving the club, and Arsenal along with Inter Milan have interest.

United would only move for Pavard if Harry Maguire left the club this summer. That now looks impossible, with West Ham already moved on to their next target.

Bayern would look for around €45million for Pavard. This is the price United were quoted after they had a bid rejected last week.
