Manchester United had an initial approach for Benjamin Pavard rejected in recent days, and Bayern Munich are holding out for an unreasonable fee.
The German champions are looking for around €50million to sell Pavard this summer despite the player’s contract expiring next year. Pavard is also keen on leaving.
It will either be sell for £30million now or lose Pavard fee next summer.
As reported by Tobi Altschaffl, Bayern Munich want around €50million for Benjamin Pavard this summer. The German club are unwilling to sell the player.
Bayern feel after the Kyle Walker deal fell through they do not want to lose Pavard. United offered around £29million for the player, but Bayern refused.
United are not likely to go too far above £29million for a player with one-year left on his deal. Jean-Clair Todibo remains a target, who would cost United less money.
Pavard wants to leave Bayern as he no longer feels comfortable at the club. Talks are continuing between United and Bayern, but no breakthrough as of yet.
The player is keen, but the clubs remain at deadlock.
