Besiktas have now reached an agreement in principle to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on a permanent deal.
United have been hoping to sell Bailly this summer and have excluded the player from any first-team activities over the last few weeks.
Bailly and United are now working on the best way to conclude a move out of the club.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Besiktas have reached an agreement in principle to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on a permanent deal.
United may ask for a fee but the most likely scenario is Bailly terminating his contract at the club. United are expected to approve of this.
The Red’s have been open to offloading Bailly all summer as they look to clear up space on the wage bill. Bailly has always wanted a move out of the club.
Besiktas have an agreement on personal terms and will now look to finalise the deal in the coming days. Bailly is expected to leave.
