Gabri Veiga has a lot of interest from outside of Spain, and the feeling is that he is likely to make a move to the Premier League if he does leave Celta Vigo.

Liverpool have significant interest in Veiga as they continue their midfield rebuild and Manchester United have also been monitoring the player over the last few months.

Chelsea are also interested, but the player is not a priority at this moment in time.

As reported by Football London, while Chelsea do have interest in Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo, he is not currently a priority for the club.

The feeling is that Chelsea are going to target a defensive midfield more than a number eight or a ten at this time, and Moises Caicedo seems to be the main target for the club.

If Chelsea can land a deal for Moises Caicedo early enough and also secure a deal for their other target Romeo Lavia, they may look at signing Veiga if they have enough funds left to do so.

The fact Chelsea don’t have Veiga as a priority could be music to the ears of Liverpool who may decide to make a move quick to avoid any other club jumping in front of them in the line.

Veiga has a release clause of £34.4million, and is increasingly likely to be playing his football away from Spain next season.
