Chelsea have now submitted their official bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. The bid is thought to be worth £115million, eclipsing Liverpool’s bid.
Liverpool are now likely to walk away from the deal as Caicedo has already detailed his preference is to join Chelsea. Liverpool had agreed a £111million bid yesterday.
Caicedo is now expected to become a Chelsea player.

As reported by Nathan Gissing, Chelsea have submitted a bid worth £115million for Moises Caicedo. The expectation is Brighton will accept.
Liverpool thought they had a deal done for Caicedo yesterday but the player’s preference flipped the situation. Caicedo gave his word to Chelsea, and stood by that.
Chelsea’s bid of £115million is a British record. Personal terms are done for Caicedo and Chelsea. It’s up to Brighton to accept the bid now.
Liverpool are not likely to bid again for a player who has made his preference clear throughout the day. The Red’s will divert attention elsewhere.
