Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley is on the verge of signing a new three-year deal at the club according to The Athletic.

Bradley has been part of the pre-season squad in Germany after impressing on loan last season at Bolton Wanderers.

He was an important member of the Bolton squad who reached the League One play-offs as he played 53 games for them in all competitions scoring seven goals whilst also getting six assists.

Bolton also won the Football League trophy and Bradley started the final at Wembley.

Due to how strong he was in an attacking sense Ian Evatt started to use him further forward.

This may help Bradley adjust to the inverted full-back role that Liverpool have started to use.

He has so far started both pre-season friendlies against Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth in the position with Trent Alexander-Arnold alongside him in the actual midfield role.

The Northern Irish international looks set to be in the senior squad this upcoming season as Alexander-Arnold’s deputy.

Personal terms for the contract were agreed last month with Liverpool eager to tie him down to a new deal.

Bradley has already played five times for Liverpool with his last game coming in a 4-1 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town.
