Real Sociedad are interested in the Dutch midfielder, who is not thought to be in the plans of Erik ten Hag next season. Van De Beek wants regular football, and is now prepared to leave the club.
Both Van De Beek and Fred are the most likely exits from United in the coming days.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Donny Van De Beek is now 80-90% likely to leave Manchester United this summer.
Sociedad are pushing and the feeling is that it could be a loan with obligation to buy deal for Van De Beek. United need to sell to raise funds for Sofyan Amrabat.
Amrabat views Manchester United as his priority. The Moroccan is keen on the move but United must sell to buy. A deal is not imminent due to that and the club must sell Fred and Van De Beek.
Fred’s future is clear. He must leave the club. The move to Galatasaray is now seen as complicated, with Saudi Arabia and Fulham also options for the Brazilian.
Van De Beek looks set to leave, with Real Sociedad the most likely takers.
