West Ham are making progress in their approach for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, but they may face competition before the end of the window from Everton.
There are other Premier League clubs interested in Maguire, but Everton are set to step forward and make an approach for the England defender.
West Ham had a £30million bid rejected for Maguire earlier today but remain in direct conversations with United over a move.
As reported by Miguel Delaney, Everton aim to make a move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire in the coming weeks.
Manchester United value Maguire at around £40milion but the feeling is a fee of around £35million could be accepted. Everton have had interest in Maguire since the window opened.
West Ham remain favourites to sign Maguire, who is beginning to come around to the idea of leaving Manchester United. The Hammer’s have received some promising signs he could accept a move.
Jean-Clair Todibo is the main target for United should a move for Maguire go through in the next few weeks. The Nice defender is valued at around £35million.
Everton interested, but West Ham in the lead.
