Turkish side Galatasaray have approached Manchester United to try and sign Fred. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer and Galatasaray are interested in his signature.
United are open to selling Fred as they look to raise more funds to go towards potential incomings. Fred has been the subject of interest from Fulham and clubs in Saudi Arabia as of late, but the interest from Galatasaray is new.
The proposal sent to Manchester United have already rejected by the club.
Galatasaray Approach United For Fred:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have approached Manchester United for Fred. A bid was sent to United but they have already rejected it. The fee fell short of their valuations.
United are looking for around £15-20million to sell Fred this summer. The midfielder has one-year left on his deal and the club are unlikely to renew as of now.
Fulham are already working on a deal for Fred along with clubs from Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian will leave Manchester United this summer, but they will not sell the player for nothing. The Red’s want a fair fee for a player they spent £52million on in 2018.
With Fred leaving Erik ten Hag is likely to look to bring in another midfielder. Sofyan Amrabat is a name linked but he is not the only player the club have looked at. A move for Romeo Lavia is unlikely, with the Belgian set to join Liverpool.
