Inter Milan are ready to keep Andre Onana for next season if Manchester United do not make an offer in the next 24 hours. The Italian side are open to the sale but they want the offer made soon, or the deal is effectively off.

Negotiations have been ongoing between the two clubs for a number of weeks and everything looked as good as done until this week. Talks have become tense over the last few days at times, but there does remain some optimism a deal could be done.

United are likely to bid for Onana but if it does not come by Friday Inter are now open to keeping the goalkeeper.

As reported by Di Marzio, Manchester United have 24 hours to make an offer for Andre Onana or a deal could be off. Inter are happy to keep the goalkeeper if a bid does not arrive.

Tomorrow is a decisive day for the deal. The anticipation is that Manchester United will present a bid of €55million, and the deal will go from there. Inter are likely to accept this bid, but they have been waiting over a week for it to arrive.

Erik ten Hag is desperate to bring Andre Onana in, but United seem to be dragging their heels on the deal. The only stumbling block in the deal at present is an agreement on a fee. Terms with the player are agreed and a contract is as good as ready to go.

United are also ready to walk away from a deal for Onana if the Italian club continue to hold out for a fee they feel unreasonable. The deal is majorly in the balance, and the next 24 hours are some of the most crucial in a long time for United. Onana is an important signing, missing out on him could have major repercussions for Erik ten Hag.

All eyes on tomorrow, and whether a deal can be agreed between the two clubs.
