Jean-Clair Todibo is a player on the list of centre-back targets at Manchester United, but they could be about to miss out on the French defender. Juventus have made contact with Nice over his signature.
Todibo is a player on the French market that United admire but they will not move for a defender unless Harry Maguire leaves the club this summer. As things stand, that looks unlikely.
Juventus have long standing interest in Todibo.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have contacted OGC Nice over Manchester United target Jean-Clair Todibo.
Todibo and Axel Disasi were two names United had on their list this summer in the event Harry Maguire left. Disasi has gone to Chelsea, and Todibo could now move to Juventus.
No formal bid has been sent as of yet, just formal contact between Juventus and Nice. The Italian club have enquired about the conditions of a possible deal for Todibo.
Interest from Juventus is unlikely to spark United into action on Todibo. The Red’s are on a sell to buy basis, and would only sign a defender if one left the club.
West Ham remain interested in Maguire, but the United defender is keen on staying.
