At one stage last week it looked as if Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona was inevitable when it was announced he would be leaving PSG. Now, that reality looks almost impossible.
The chances of Messi returning to Barcelona are now diminishing slowly, and the feeling is that he is edging towards a move to Inter Miami.
Inter Miami have offered the Argentine a lucrative package, and there is a belief he will accept the American sides offer.
As reported by Gerard Romero via Managing Barca, Lionel Messi is now edging towards a move to Inter Miami over a return to Barcelona.
Barcelona are finding it difficult to figure out a way to bring Messi back to Barcelona and Messi is now expected to accept the offer from Inter Miami.
A decision could happen today. Barcelona are not completely out of the race and could save the situation yet, but as of now it’s more likely Messi ends up at Inter Miami.

There is part of the entourage of Messi that reportedly do not trust Barcelona, and the situation will need to change very quickly for anything to change in terms of Messi’s final destination.
An agreement between Messi and Inter Miami is said to be very close, and any chance of him joining Barcelona at this stage has been described as very minimal.
Barcelona need to act fast, or risk never seeing Messi play for the club ever again.
