Liverpool are still looking to sign another midfielder after completing a deal for Wataru Endo, and Mario Lemina is a player the club have admiration for. Lemina fits the profile of player Liverpool are currently targeting.
The Gabon international was instrumental at Old Trafford on Monday night against Manchester United, in what could be an audition for Liverpool.
No move has been made as of yet, but Liverpool are among a number of clubs with interest.
As reported by Foot Mercato, Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina. Liverpool remain keen on signing another defensive midfielder this summer.
Since missing out on Moises Caicedo Liverpool have changed their recruitment plan. A £16million deal has been completed for Wataru Endo, and the club are now looking for further reinforcements in the window.
Lemina has been at Wolves since January of this year after joining from OGC Nice. Liverpool would only have to pay around €15million if they were to move for the Wolves midfielder.
There is interest in Lemina from other clubs within the Premier League, but Liverpool in particular really like the player. Lemina is on a list alongside players like Cheick Doucoure and Joao Palhinha.
A final decision is yet to be made by Liverpool on who they will sign.
