Liverpool are now said to be considering a move for Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan. The signing would be to eventually replace Andy Robertson at left-back.
Estupinan was one of Brighton’s standout players in one of the best campaigns in the clubs history last season, and has caught the eye at Liverpool.
It’s unlikely that Brighton would be too keen on selling the defender.
As reported by Steve Kay of TransferDotCom, Liverpool are considering a move for Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan.
Estupinan signed from Villarreal in 2022 where he was part of the team that got to the semi-final. Brighton paid €17.8million for the Ecuador international.
Liverpool are beginning to prepare for life after Andy Robertson and Estupinan is one of the best candidates out there at the moment.
Brighton are unlikely to sell the player as he’s highly valued. The fee would likely be upwards of £50million if Liverpool do decide to make a move.
Interest for now, but no move as of yet.
