Kylian Mbappe remains in the undesirable stock of players training away from the PSG first-team as the window draws to a close, and his future is still not resolved.
PSG want to sell Mbappe now due to his wishes to not sign a new deal, and Liverpool are a club with long standing interest in the French forward.
A permanent deal this summer may be impossible, but a loan may be the key to making it happen.
Liverpool Lead Race For Mbappe On Loan:
According to FootballTransfers.com, Liverpool lead the race to sign PSG’s Kylian Mbappe on a loan deal this summer.
Mbappe has been tipped to join Real Madrid but there has been no significant movement on that deal in the last number of weeks. PSG do not want to let Mbappe leave for free next summer.
Liverpool have made no secret of their desire to sign Mbappe over the last few seasons. Jurgen Klopp has been in contact with the player in the past, and Mbappe’s mother is a Liverpool fan.
A permanent deal this summer would be near impossible for Liverpool to pull off but a well structured loan with PSG taking some of the wages may be something that could be worked out.
Real Madrid will keep trying in the background, but Liverpool are there too when it comes to a loan.
