Liverpool have had positive talks about signing Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch according to a report.
The Reds are still on the hunt for midfielders even though they have signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.
Gravenberch is supposedly high on Jurgen Klopp’s list this summer and the Dutch international is open to leaving Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich.
The 21-year-old only joined the club in 2021 from Ajax but has struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up so Liverpool are looking to agree a fee for him.
In 33 appearances in all competitions last season he only made six starts and his fortunes didn’t change when Thomas Tuchel was placed in charge.
Klopp has lost a host of midfielders this summer with James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all leaving at the end of their deals.
Whilst the club decided to sell Fabinho and skipper Jordan Henderson to Saudi Arabia clubs so even though they are two games into the campaign they are still on the lookout for more signings.
If he were to join Gravenberch would have two Dutch teammates in Virgil Van Dijk and Cody Gakpo to help him settle in.
