Liverpool are in negotiations with Bayern Munich over the permanent transfer of midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield all summer after failing to secure regular game time since his move a year ago.
Despite the Bundesliga giants initially rebuffing any transfer talk for the former Ajax player, it appears that their stance has now changed.
According to David Ornstein, the Anfield hierarchy are negotiating with Bayern chiefs over the permanent transfer of the Dutch international.
The Football Correspondent for The Athletic suggests that Bayern are now willing to listen to offers for Gravenberch providing they can find a replacement for him.
Ornstein also states that the deal is ‘not yet close’ and it will also be reliant on the teams agreeing on the finances.
The player himself is rumoured to prefer a move to Liverpool over rivals Manchester United so with just over 48 hours until the transfer window closes, it does look like Liverpool are making moves to try and secure their fourth midfield signing of the summer.
