Liverpool have maintained that Mohamed Salah is not for sale, as Al Ittihad prepare to try and sign the Egyptian. The interest from the Saudi side is concrete, but as expected Liverpool’s stance is Salah is not for sale. He remains an important part of the squad going forward for this season.

The promise from Al Ittihad would be massive wages and a chance to be the face of the revolution of Saudi Arabian football. Liverpool however have no intentions of entertaining an offer.

Salah is expected to stay at Liverpool, at least for this season.

As reported by David Ornstein, Liverpool maintain Mohamed Salah is not for sale. They have repeated their stance amid the growing speculation surrounding Al Ittihad’s interest.

The Saudi side are serious about trying for sign Salah, but Liverpool are serious about not wanting to sell him. Salah signed a new deal last year worth £350,000-a week.

Liverpool are hoping to return to the form that had them at the pinnacle of English football in recent seasons. Mohamed Salah needs to be at the club for that to happen.

Al Ittihad are likely to prepare an offer for the Egyptian but as Liverpool have stated, it is unlikely to be accepted. Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas has also stated recently that the player has not intentions of leaving the club.

Interest in Salah, but Liverpool remain defiant.
