Liverpool are planning on submitting a formal bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo in the coming hours. The club contacted Brighton this morning regarding the player.
The race is now on as Chelsea are also not backing down in their pursuit of Caicedo. The feeling is they still lead the race.

Liverpool Plan To Bid For Moises Caicedo:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool’s plan is to submit a bid for Moises Caicedo in the coming hours.
Contact was instigated by Liverpool this morning to try and take Caicedo from under the nose of Chelsea. This comes after Chelsea made a £48million bid for Romeo Lavia last night.
The feeling remains that Chelsea will win the race, but Liverpool still plan to submit a bid. Chelsea’s dream is for Caicedo to play on Sunday against Liverpool.
Brighton have been clear on their asking price for the midfielder, £100million or no deal. Chelsea have not yet reached that fee it’s currently unknown what Liverpool’s will reach.
Liverpool are in the race, and they’re determined to try.
