Liverpool are now prepared to walk away from a deal for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. Chelsea have began talks over their new bid.
An agreement was reached between Brighton and Liverpool last night for a record £110million, but Caicedo’s preference for Chelsea now means Liverpool are thinking of walking away.
Chelsea will have to beat Liverpool’s fee if they do not walk away, but could bid lower if they do.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are prepared to walk away from a deal for Moises Caicedo, as Chelsea begin talks with Brighton over their new bid.
Chelsea are growing in confidence of possibly getting a deal done for Caicedo. The player wants the Blue’s, and has made as much clear to Liverpool.
Liverpool have left their bid in until now but there is a growing feeling they are now prepared to pull it and walk away.
Chelsea have also launched a bid for another Liverpool target in Romeo Lavia, meaning the Red’s could miss out on both of their main targets to Chelsea.
