Manchester City are now closing in on a deal for Manchester United youth defender Harrison Parker. The deal is close to an agreement, with Parker choosing the blue side of Manchester over the red side.
City have beaten four other clubs to the signing of Parker, who is 16-years old and has been at United since 2021 when he joined from Arsenal’s youth academy.
United offered Parker a higher youth deal than City, but he has his heart set on the Blue’s.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are now close to an agreement with Manchester United youth defender Harrison Parker.
Parker is highly rated and was the subject of interest from four other clubs. City have beaten them clubs to the signature and are close to bolstering their youth setup even more.
Manchester United took two of City’s players away last month in the shape of Jack and Tyler Fletcher, but City are returning the favour now with the signing of Parker.
Parker made 1 appearance for United in the U-18 Premier League last season. A deal is expected to be concluded with City in the next few weeks.
