Manchester United are eager to sign another midfielder before the window closes, and Sofyan Amrabat is the main target this summer. Sales will need to happen before United move, but he is their prime midfield target.
Amrabat is open to leaving Fiorentina this summer but the club require a big fee before selling him. United could be able to land the player for around £30million.
Right now, out of all the clubs interested in Amrabat United are pushing the most.
As reported by Gazetta in Italy, Manchester United are the most determined club to sign Sofyan Amrabat as things stand. Amrabat would be open to a move to United.
Liverpool are also interested in Amrabat but their priority seems to be Romeo Lavia from Southampton. Lavia will cost around £40million, but Liverpool are also looking at signing Cheick Doucoure. Amrabat is just one of the names on the list.
Erik ten Hag is a huge fan of Amrabat and views the midfielder as an ideal understudy to Casemiro. United need to sell Fred and Donny Van De Beek to secure finances for Amrabat, and both players do have interest elsewhere.
Fred has interest from Saudi and Donny Van De Beek is being courted by numerous clubs around Europe. The Red’s hope to net around £30million from the sale of both players.
Amrabat is one to watch in the coming weeks for United, but Rasmus Hojlund is a more pressing target.
